Its very small - you won't have any issues with a long walk to main arena. Loos are as you would expect - really its all just quite bog standard I would say (maybe someone will disagree!)
Crowd make up broadly similar to Victorious i reckon - mix of teenagers / young adults + a good amount of older people and families.
With the headliners being bigger than other years (to most people). Do we think they will all get slightly longer set times, than the usual 70 minutes. I know Biffy got 90 minutes this year, but most years it's been the classic 70. Obviously won't find out for 7 months at least.
Best Big Stage Headliner - Justice
Best Glasto Debutant - Barry Can't Swim
Best Late Night Act - James Acaster/Nish Kumar B2B in Cabaret
Best Small(ish) Flyte on The Avalon stage
Best Returning Veteran - Not 20 years but seeing Jungle on their, and my, 10th anniversary at the festival was great
Rising Star Award - Repeat answer but Barry Can't Swim will surely be up there
Best Album - And again - Barry's When Will We Land has had so much airtime this year
Best Individual Song - "Lets Go Girls!" Shania Twain - Man I feel like a woman - A classic legend slot for me
Honourable Mention - Jessie Ware was my "I guess I'll go see them" when none of the other acts took my fancy and I had the absolute best time with my friend who convinced me it was a good idea
He has some tales.
Gutted to have missed these shows - just couldn't get a ticket for love nor money - but fell exceedingly lucky by catching him in Adelaide last year.
