cdm22
1. AURORA - Royal Albert Hall. I had the first seat in stalls pretty much on the stage and it was just magical. 2. Olivia Rodrigo - O2. The energy and singing from the crowd was something else. 3. Depeche Mode - O2. Won tickets and was in a suite. The first time seeing them in 30 odd years! 4. Orla Gartland - Lafayette, London, Always excellent and the first chance to hear stuff from her new album. 5. AC/DC - Wembley. Much as I generally don't like stadium gigs, these guys smashed it.
archiegow
First proper year of gigs for me, been a whirlwind! As for top 3: 1. IDLES - Newcastle City Hall (got tickets last minute, my friend's first ever gig, absolutely electric!) 2. The Killers - Co-op Live (getting to see my favourite band for the second time, on the floor was brilliant! Everyone going mental in Human was a year highlight! Travis were excellent as the support too.) 3. Wunderhorse - NX (just an outstanding live band. Whole floor was jumping!) Honourable mentions: Blossoms - City Hall (saw them twice this year after being a casual enjoyer, now a devoted fan! Red Rum Club were great as the support too!) Fontaines D.C. - Boiler Shop (intimate setting, electric performance and the crowd was buzzing. Hearing Sundowner live was unreal) The Libertines - NX (thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. Being dragged into the pit by my girlfriend from Horror Show to Don't Look Back into the Sun was surreal) Nile Rodgers & Chic - City Hall (what is there to say?? Banger after banger after banger!) Really wish I could've added KOL at the Hydro in here because they are one of my favourites and they were very good on stage (hearing Cold Desert and My Party live was amazing) but the crowd was so unbelievably dead except for the two obvious songs that it dragged it all down unfortunately. We’ve been fans since we saw her as a teenager playing the Glasgow college of art in front of a few hundred folk, just before she released her first album. Seen her often since then including three at Glastonbury. Absolutely unique haunting voice. good choice! TheSheriff
Eagles/The Doobie Brothers Coop Arena was by far my stand out gig of the the year, wonderful venue and two all time legendary bands both in great form
A Particular Grey Chihuahu
I've seen bigger acts this year, but for me Bellowhead was most enjoyable.

ukmountie
For me: 1. Dave Mathew’s Band Manchester. That this was number one says something as I spent the second half in an ambulance for non-substance related reasons. 2. The 1975 Birmingham Resorts World 3. The Eagles/Doobie Brothers. A bit bittersweet for me. Joe Walsh is showing the wear when he sings, though guitar is all it ever was. Co-op live as a venue gets mixed reviews. They really need to look at traffic management. Pipine
It’s been an unusually quiet year for me gig wise. I’m still full of regret for not going to see Chappell, Charli or Billie.. don’t know what I was thinking missing out on those three. I also failed to get Taylor Swift tickets because I was just too late starting to think about wanting to go. Really hoping that Chappell and Charli will be up on the Glastonbury line up so I don’t miss out again. Of what I did go and see the highlights were: 1. Postal Service @ APE 2. Dead Pony @ leadmill 3. Phoenix @ APE 4. Ladyhawke @ Yellow arch
