I’d say the ratio of operative:civilian deaths, the fact that the numbers killed in 2024 are around 15k - many of whom will be combatants, including high profile ones- means that it is a war. One that should have ended some time ago and hasn’t for reasons that suit both sides, but a war nevertheless.
There is no camping in the festival and I am 99,99% sure tickets won't sell out at all.
Also don't stay nearby, there is usually a free bus/metro/train back to the centre of Madrid (Atocha station), so anything close to Atocha, or you could just get back to Atocha and grab a taxi then to your hotel from there (not from the taxi stop at the venue, way longer waiting times and more expensive).
And I recommend you start looking and book the hotel as soon as you can since it will be way cheaper now. Most have a free cancellation policy till a few days before the date, so you've got nothing to lose if you do that.
It's not as packed as a usual mad cool lineup, but decent. Only werchter has it going on this year lineup wise for me.
Decent lineup though. Girl in Red would be a great addition for sziget.
Jet? Though they were done 15 years ago.
Probably, but genocide wasn't defined then.
I mean, history is littered with genocides...but following what happened to the Jews by the Nazis the legal definition was determined to help prevent it ever happening again....and it can be argued that Israel's conduct against the people of Gaza fits that definition. It is nothing like the holocaust, a whole other level, but this holocaust inversion thing still does not make Israel immune from such accusations.
