There are quiet camping (family camping) at one end of the site! All the campsite is pretty well behaved though so don't worry yourself too much!

Ah, cheers for the tips people! It sounds awesome. I like chilled out festivals and I also like the range of workshops and therapies on offer (am a massage therapist and belly dance for fun, so these things appeal to me). Lovely!

I wouldnt camp in the family camping without children tbh, its quiet in the night but obviously noisy very early when all the babies and toddlers wake up.

Actually it's a Father Ted job but it has a bed so no more back ache and waking up freezing in the middle of the night. Really not ready for Shambala this year. I've got a lot on, and there are logistical problems to do with attending the festival that need sorting. Still, I know I'll have made the right decision when I'm on the way home after the festival ends.

I would thoroughly recommend the hair of the dog when you get there random_man. I can't see any other way out of your dilemma. I'm not getting there until tomorrow. Going in a convoy of vehicles. Really looking forward to it now, but have yet to do any preparation for it in terms of packing etc. I have to sort out all the equipment for me, my girlfriend, her son and his girlfriend. I'm going to be busy tonight.

The best act of the weekend will undoubtedly be the Bristol Samba Reggae band (ok I am a bit biased as I am playing with them!). Should be great fun.

I had a text saying that the festival will be moving to Wales in 2015. Can anybody confirm this as I can't find any further information on it? Also, if it is moving do you know where too?
