I cannot believe people are moaning about the lack of sleep

Ok I can at least understand the toilet thing; but now people are moaning about the lack of sleep at the festival.

It is a festival and hence, people will get a few pints down, go on to the late night events and come home late - enevitably falling over the odd guide rope in the dark and maybe raising their voice. They may even want to stay up, chat and have another beer or play a guitar etc.

That is what makes the festival great, the atmosphere and diversity. Not everyone wants the same peace and quiet others crave.

It baffles me why some people bother; or maybe it is just the British way to moan for the sake of it?!

It was me last year who was moaning about lack of sleep! Sorry but after five sleepless nights at Glasto followed by one at Cornbury (ahhhh Vodka n vintage Cider) i was hoping to get some kip in the family field - instead i got 2 nights of violent, rude, aggressive crack users (who i don't think ever left the campsite) so i had a big moan. I also suggested this could be the reason others were on a downer - as the festival itself was great this year. So i posed the question to those who said they weren't coming back. If you bothered to read threads instead of voicing your 'outrage' at a conversation you possibly wouldn't look like such a div.

A bit of noise doesn't bother me but last year we were subjected to a group of teenagers who spent the whole weekend trashing their camping area, culminating in them stealing a load of frozen pizzas from one food stand and lobbing them all round the site.

They are not the only reason I'm not going back but it was a major contribution.
