Zeppel Inn
I've got one of those. They're ok. I managed to move a wardrobe with it in the house but I've not tried it 'off road' yet. The wheels may be a bit small.
Mr.Tickle
We used one this year, did great getting in but they're quite lightweight and it broke almost completely on the way out just through the amount of weight on it. The wheels bent back.
strictly gaga
Hmmm - nice fold up action but no mention of pneumatic tyres and how easy to adjust for the load? Still faithful to my old dear: I'm assured it's ever so easy to push/pull as well Also it comes apart for easy tent storage. Thanks be to 5co77ie btw; trolley porn already - lovely ! hairofthedog
5co77ie, I would definitely go for rubber inflatable tyres. I was speaking to you about mine this year (welsh couple by the cider bus and leftfield tent), it was amazing at both glasto and BD's, and it only cost £12 from B&Q. It was like a 4 X 4 through the mud. I'll see if I can find a photo.

Cardboard Box City
I got one of those and it was a bit flimsy, best off going for one with with the bigger solid tyres
Harrow Strongbow Ciderman!
Yep, defo go for something with bigger tyres. We had something similar to this at Glasto this year - Sturdy metal frame but small wheels. It fell apart on the run from car to campsite Personally i'd say you can't go wrong with a wheelbarrow! If you can fit one in the motor. Ok admittedly a fold down trolley is more convenient but we've tried a few models and they don't stand up to the job. TimeSpeedsUp got a normal builders wheelbarrow from Homebase or B&Q and it served us well this summer. I did several trips at Beautiful Days with steep hill and was ideal. Our humble wheelbarrow clocked up around 10 trips from car to campsite and hopefully alot more use next season.

midnight_toker
Scottie - I have a trolley that looks just like your one, and IMHO it is the business. You just need to be careful as some are more heavy duty than others. My one looks just like yours and can carry 80kgs so is pretty hefty. The wheels managed just fine at Glasto, and I even dragged it, fully loaded, up the steep hill back to the car park (think it was exit C - I've heard the hill referred to as the 'hill of death' and it coped no problem. The other advantage to this type of trolley is that it folds totally flat - I normally end up sliding it under my tent when I've finished unpacking - I put it right down one end so I don't end up lying or kneeling on it and then it takes up no room at all, and unlike the bigger ones, you don't have to take it back to your car or leave it outside your tent and then get it nicked. Every year I am the envy of my friends, who all say that they will get a trolley for next year and then forget. I often take other people's stuff on my trolley as they look so laden down that I feel guilty for only having my trolley and a rucksack on my back! I can take 2 tents, 2 camping chairs, inflatable beds, 4 boxes of wine, garden candles and other bits and pieces. Bungee ropes are your friends - take lots and then strap everything on tight! I've experimented with all sorts of trolleys at fests over the years and this is defo the best one (again, IMHO). Wheelbarrows are a right pain in the proverbial - they look like they can take more than they actually can and have a tendency to turn over, especially when it's muddy (or worse, when the mud dries and you get big ruts everywhere). But the best advice is, regardless of what trolley you got for, use loads of bungee ropes. I've tried normal rope and it just slackens off too much when you go over bumps, so you end up having to re-tie it all the time.

itsybitsy
Another vote for the £13 red B&Q trolley, mine performed brilliantly in the mud at Glasto and dry at Shambala. Although it doesn't fold up, I could fit it in the back of a KA with the back seat down and it lies pretty flat so doesn't actually use much space as you can pack around it. You definately want pneumatic tyres, because they absorb the shock when (hopefully next year) the ground is rock hard and full of ruts. A solid axle is also a bonus. Scottie, the one you're looking at has fold in wheels with no support between the centres, I've seen alot people struggling to keep the wheels folded out. This is a problem when the ground is hard, because the wheel tends to get knocked in as the trolley bounces over the deep ruts. If you need a fold up because of car space, then try and look at one in shop first to see how sturdy the wheels are.
hulk mike
this is what you need note the very wide wheels, also holes in the wheels allow mud/water to flow through, good ground clearance for deep water fairly flexible, aids suspension, and after all its designed to be dragged over grass! yep, its going to be glasto number 3 for my golf trolley in 08! also it folds up, the wheels come off easily too which is good for packing, you can pick one up cheap in sports shops, or if you keep an eye out in your local charity shops, there is normally one in there going for next to nothing, i liberated this one off my dad!
