My trolley looks like this:

Got it from B&Q for £12.98. Worked perfectly in the mud of this year; walked effortlessy in/out at high speed with a massive holdall bungeed on. Large wheels and good clearance, it rode through the water/mud. Will be using it again, and again,...

this is what you need

note the very wide wheels, also holes in the wheels allow mud/water to flow through, good ground clearance for deep water fairly flexible, aids suspension, and after all its designed to be dragged over grass! yep, its going to be glasto number 3 for my golf trolley in 08! also it folds up, the wheels come off easily too which is good for packing, you can pick one up cheap in sports shops, or if you keep an eye out in your local charity shops, there is normally one in there going for next to nothing, i liberated this one off my dad!

Lol - you must take bugger all on that - the wheels would so bust under any real weight!!

As an often solo traveller I quite like the look of it - nice light trolley for tent + beer (eliminating the second 'beer run' to the car) and the rest on your back in a rucksack - I reckon that would be a good combo. Anything bigger would be slow and cumbersome and you'd need more than one pair of hands to get through tricky bits.

Hmmm - nice fold up action but no mention of pneumatic tyres and how easy to adjust for the load?

Still faithful to my old dear:

I'm assured it's ever so easy to push/pull as well :P Also it comes apart for easy tent storage.

Thanks be to 5co77ie btw; trolley porn already - lovely !

B&Q were selling something very similar for £13 last year (in bright cheerful red :P too). They don't fold flat, so I just stored mine in the Lock-Up.

It was so cheap that I had to leave it in the car park on the way back to reality. The car was full and it was the cheapest thing. (I hope it found a new owner).

I'll be buying another one this year (assuming I get my golden ticket).

I rescued one of these from the car park, it was obviously new , still had tape round the handles! Was muddy of course but a blast with a pressure washer soon fixed that. How come the car was fuller on the way back than on the way in? If it was your trolley then thanks, it will be making a return this year (all being well).

glastonbury 2004 - bought a fishing trolley with heeuge pnuematic tyres and a badger portable so that I and Mrs Niblet had a trolley each, the badger was not up to the job really but the fishing trolley was a doddle to transport stuff with. I got mine for £30 off ebay and would highly reccomend them - just like this one here add some bungy cords and you are sorted!

Just been to my local B&Q and got an orange sack trolley for £12.98 - searched online and found that you can check if your local B&Q have them in stock. I wanted one last year but they had sold out by the time I had got around to looking for one.

Also have one of these- thought it was a bit pricey at the time but has been really useful for carrying stuff, with added cushions and fairy lights makes excellent night transport for little Thatcats and a comfy sofa in the tent. :)

it hilarious watching guys with everything they own carefully strapped to a cheap trolley only for it to fall apart halfway there

what you guys might not realise is that glasto alows you to go back to your car

theres no need to do a heroic one trip

I like to pretty much just take the tent on the first trip

saves being weighed down while lookng for a good spot
