Uncle Liam
Erm... The MEN should hold 18000 for that event. Wembley arena will hold about 120000. NIA will hold 10000. Lots of empty seats. (not that thats anything new). Expensive to hire out these arenas, so they're going to lose money unless they sell quite a lot of tickets. Which i dont think they will. Uncle Liam
I bet you a tenner they wont. Each arena, 50% full. Tops. Who they going to market it to? Seriously, who watches the show, and then enjoys it enough to splash out the money to go and watch it? Who are all the kids going to want to go and see? They're all going to go watch WWE. Yes, TNA, has some hardcore fans, but hell, ECW had the most hardcore fans of all time and look what happenned there. and people were still tuning into WCW at the end... And people are still watching Raw for some reason.

luckysalt
Raw didn't sound too bad and am I mad or are they pushing Lance Cade? A HHH v Jericho main event can't be bad, Its not been booked like WM18 FFS
luckysalt
6 DAYS UNTIL THE DRAFT LETS TALK DRAFT heres Vince when questioned on the draft ''We don't do that necessarily every year, but I think we will in the future. It shakes things up. It refreshens the product and we have some major moves planned. It's a good thing. I think everyone looks forward to that because you don't know where the superstars or your favorite ones are going or which ones are coming, which issues are resolved, which ones are left open, so it's an exciting show.'' So major moves... John Cena to Smackdown? Batista to Raw? Edge to Raw? Undertaker to follow him to Raw on his return? Shawn Michales to Smackdown? HHH to Smackdown? Those are the major moves IMO Jericho is staying on Raw, its in his contract apparently Umaga is going Smackdown, Vince has already said he's moving brands in the shareholders meeting a month ago, and surely they wouldn't move him to ECW
Halcyon
Don't forget, ECW is now being taped before Raw, so the trade of tallent between ECW and Smackdown will stop. Therefore, I'm expecting a whole bunch of trades between ECW and smackdown behind the scenes. I'd say the main trades (mostly between Raw and Smackdown) will be: To Smackdown Punk Umanga Jeff Hardy (and will soon take back his MitB case to eventually set up an awesome Edge vs Hardy feud) Santino To Raw MVP Taker Batista a woman or two... Kelly Kelly or McCool Carlito will disappear never to be seen again. There's not a cats chance in hell HHH or Cena are moving to the B show - that would be the very definition of no buys. luckysalt
Khali? I dunno, he has a pretty good spot on smackdown and I don't think he would mantain that spot on Raw, and they want him in a good spot cus he's so important for overseas Burke & Punk will move I think If Carlito is staying he should move Shelton needs to move or get pushed on ECW I can see Batista and Jeff Hardy switching as the big faces
luckysalt
Apparently theres a new Raw GM this monday someone from Smackdown or ECW? Astrada? I hope so
Uncle Liam
Not that the draft means anything these days. Big Show for instance, is apparently a Smackdown guy, whose first feud back was on both shows, and is now fighting for the ECW Championship. You know, despite the death of Eddy Guerrero, and Bobby lashley being involved, the Raw v Smackdown feud of late 2005 was so brilliant. If they did that now it would mean shit. rossmac1987
i know im going to be disapointed by the draft. what i want to happen To Raw; John Morrison The Miz Batista MVP Estrada (new gm + fued with regal on his return) Mike Adamle Elijah Burke Matt Hardy Edge (with title) To Ecw; Big Show The Highlanders Super Crazy Jamie Nobel Jimmy Wang Yang Shannon Moore Jerry Lawler Rey Mysterio Funaki Paul London Brian Kendrick Mark Henry Khali Mick Foley Hopefully starting some form of cruiserwieght divison on ECW To Smackdow; Carlito John Cena (Arrive with title after beating hhh at NOC) Cryme Time Santino Umaga Cm Punk Chavo Bam Neely Tazz Jerico I know this is to many picks but it would be a great way to properly shake everything up and would be a bit surprising. My N.O.C predictions are; WWE Champion - Triple H vs. John Cena - Cena World Heavyweight Champion - Edge vs Batista - Edge ECW Champion - Kane vs. Big Show - Kane World Tag Team Championship Match - Hardcore Holly & Cody Rodes vs. Ted jr and ??? - Ted Jr and ??? (cody heel turn) WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz vs. Finlay & Hornswoggle - Finlay and Hornswoggle (please god no) United States Champion Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero - Chavo WWE Women's Champion Mickie James vs. Katie Lea Burchill (WWE Women's Championship Match) - Katie Lea
Halcyon
^ an big fan of title changes I see... it's a night where all the champions fight, not where most of the champions loose.. HHH over Cena Edge over Batista Kane over Big Show (this is the one I'm least confident about) Ted Jr & DH Smith over Holly & Rhodes (Rhodes turns heel on Holly) M&M over Finlay & Hornswaggle Hardy over Chavo James over Katie

luckysalt
You're missing two matches off the NOC card IC Title - Jericho v Shawn Michales Divas Title - Natalya v TBA I think your draft picks are pretty good ross, and would love Jerry Lawler and JR to be split up but would rather have Foley on raw than Mik Adamle No way in hell will Rey Mysterio ever be put on ECW same goes for Great Khali they're both too important in the markets [spanish & asian] I too want a cruiserweight division on ECW as Ive posted in the past
luckysalt
JR says there WILL be main event names moving in the draft on Monday So who do we think Batista to Raw, I would say move Rey Mysterio to Raw but because of Smackdowns high value in spanish areas they've not done this in the past, I feel they need to gamble and do this now though, Rey has been on Smackdown for what 7 years? time to move him definatly IMO But who goes to Smackdown who is main event? thats the question? IMO, HHH should go, hes been on RAW forever, move him to Smackdown and if he's that much of a draw and a star like he thinks he is, he shouldn't mind, a HHH - Edge fued on Smackdown after the Taker fued has finished would be great Maybe JBL to Smackdown, he just is not working on Raw at all Keep Cena on Raw, fued with Hardy, Mysterio, Batista, and the long awaited return fued with Jericho maybe its time for Cena to turn heel though, hes VERY stale right now, would be a good way for him to get the strap off a leaving HHH
