also, regarding the mike adamle thing, i don't watch ecw so never understood why he got so much stick, but my god let's hope he's not as much as a train wreck as gm, the commentary was shocking, no wonder they brought out jbl and then later j.r.

jbl's line on mike adamle belonging on the home shopping network had me in stitches, wish they would give kane his mask already it's getting boring same thing every week.

I *really* hope Adamle's GM gimmick is making crap matches. Hell it can't be worse than HHH vs Khali for the 'richest prize in the sport' at the '2nd biggest show of the year'. (Of course it will never top Eugene's musical chairs, but i can dream.)

I also loved 1) The JR/King/Adamle team 2) Adamle & JBL 3) Adamle saying he gave Koft the 'jamaican me crazy' nickname, rather than just some silly pre-written line that he never expected to use again.

God I love Adamle. If they could put him in some kind of GM double act with Regal (like Adamle screws things up and Regal looks all miffed in his usual way, and then has to try to fix things, but fails) it would be COMEDY GOLD and MANY BUYS!

Speaking of Regal, as of last night he was a free agent, where's he going now? He was great in his match last night, although obviously he made Punk look like crap, both metaphorically and physically. He'd work well on smackdown at US title level (as everyone seems to do), but will he just get buried on ECW or something?

I've just thought of something BRILLIANT.

In 1993, Eric Bischoff was a 3rd string announcer who became WCW President. Fifteen years on, MIKE ADAMLE~! is a third string announcer who has just become Raw GM. I reckon ADAMLE~! is following in Bischoffs footsteps and is going to make Raw massive again, like the boom perdio, then bring back the nWo wiith himself as the leader!

TNA really needs to step up, and they're not going to achieve it by letting stars go, which they have done this week, Tomko has left the company to work full time in Japan, seriously I was a huge Tomko mark, and im gutted he's gone, apparently Nash walked out on a tv taping as well cus he's pissed off with the way a match was booked with him, well he should f**k off then, no one man is bigger than the company, seriosuly Nash should be thankful company's still want him around, hes absolutely f**king shocking in the ring, on the mic he's still alright though

Not many, it would seem. Just checked Ticketmaster, ansd there are only eight ringisde blokc,s and yet I can buy tickets for the 5th row. These tickets have been on sale over a month now.

TNA is a product which is almost literally, selling no tickets. Just like WCW circa 2000.

I've also just noticed that SAMOA JOE, you know, The World Champ (actually, if you watched Impact this last week, you wouldnt know!) is behind the soon to be crippled Kurt Angle...and JEFF JARRETT on the poster. Now thats a failure.

The public portrayal is that it was an amicable parting of the ways related to WWE not allowing Flair to take offers that he was wanting to accept.

CM Punk can't fight anybody at a PPV now and it be a good match after the way they've made him look so shite since 'Mania unless it's some kind of underdog coming of age storyline which I very much doubt, so what's the point in him making it to another PPV?

At least Raw has been watchable since the draft.

The TNA tour will be a farce, there's nothing quite like an empty venue to take the atmosphere away, they'll be lucky to fill half the lower tier of the MEN and then they'll pull the curtains over the upper tier. Great occassion for their biggest ever UK show

The fact that the top seats for the filmed episodes of Raw are £60 and £50 everywhere else and TNA want £45 for their standard shows sums it up. Dunno why SJM even got involved in it as it can't possibly turn a profit

I hope Flair has been released from WWE if he doesn't need the steady income because WWE have been dicks not letting him go to the NWA hall of fame
