Sorry to interupt, but I need a rant.

Friday is the first weekend night I've had off for a long time, so I phone around my mates and see who fancies a night out, like we always used to do. 1 mate is skint, which is fair enough, he's just home from a month away. Then there's three others who say "nah mate, staying in with my girlfriend", whilst it's annoyed me a bit, I can see why they would. But the one thing that has pissed me off is one of these guys has always said "mates before dates", "bro's before hoes" and all the other stupid sayings which basically mean he'd always be around for his mates before his missus, which is complete bollocks because not one of my mates have seen him for a month. This bloke has a bit of a history of saying one thing and meaning another. For example, he'll be saying to his mates "sorry, can't come out this weekend, bitch won't let me will she?", yet I know for a fact he's said to her "I don't fancy going out with my mates this weekend anyway, I want to stay with you".

I'm probably just being bitter that they've all got someone and I haven't, but even so, it's pissed me off. If they want to spend time with their other halves then fair enough, but why do they feel the need to make it out like they'd rather be with their mates as opposed to their girlfriend? It's quite obviously not true.

Like I said, it's probably me being bitter that I've got a night off and will be wasting it.

Times change and we must change with them. People who moan that their friends are happy and loved up are akin to a thirty four year old man who says "Urrgghhhh girls" in the same way that a six year old would.

Mind, it's not right that they lie about it. I'm sure that the individual who has particularly got remote's goat won't be with his lady for very long if he refers to her in those terms and makes up lies about her. I've noticed that women - well people in general - don't like that kind of behaviour .....

All of my mates are married/loved up.....and I'm single. We always manage nights out though! I guess thats the bonus about getting older! If we're gonna head out, its a carefully planned operation........organised weeks in advance! Can't really go out more than twice a month....takes 2 weeks to recover :D:) It works ok though! Most of them can't WAIT to get out and away from the missus for an evening!

twas a good friday indeed :O

looks like i'm going out with the girl i met at st paddys on monday or tuesday

pulled a girl who i had previously (drunkenly, but all the same) described as my "ideal girl" and will see her on friday if not before EDIT: and she's completely single :(

and indulged in some ridiculous amounts of flirting with the amazingly cute barmaid after the bar closed....:)

and hopefully my stalker girl will leave me alone after seeing me with yet another girl who's not her, and being told i'm not interested ;)

good friday all the same :D:D:D

Does anyone have any experience of stalking?

I was really pissed in this club in November, and I kind of followed this cute girl around and made her feel... stalked. But I wouldn't have done it unless I'd felt she wasn't even slightly interested. Anyway, that night in November I kept trying to tell her I wasn't really a stalker, but then I kept making myself come off even worse... saying things like "I'm not your stalker, i'm just obsessed with you", or "I like your face and I want your face and my face to mate, sexually", or "this is my penis".

Some of that was exaggerated, but you get the general idea. Anyway, tonight I was walking through the same nightclub when I heard a girl shout "that's my stalker.... ahhhh!". She was still cute, so I went up to her and apologised for being a dick last time... she seemed to accept this. Still, my giant ego felt there was something more to this girl. So I stalked her a bit, apologised a bit more for stalking her (classic stalking), then eventually pulled her. It was strange... she seemed to enjoy it (i'm really good at kissing). Then she wandered off, and I tried to find her again, but when I did her male friends became all defensive and got in between me and her.

Obviously I wasn't really bothered by her male friends, because I hadn't done anything wrong (by law). Still, it was annoying, i'd have liked to have got to know her a bit more, she seemed sweet. I guess I will have to wait until I see her next, because the last time I saw her I just apologised in case i'd made her feel uncomfortable, and said i'd leave her alone for fear of angering her friends. So no numbers were swapped. In retrospect... it was all a lot of fun! But i'm gonna have to go to this club every night until we are married.

Anyone else do any stalking tonight?
