I went to my now ex's to have THE conversation and drop off her stuff on Saturday, she wasn't in when I got there so I stuck around for a cuppa with her family for a bit and then went for a walk and called her. She said she couldn't talk to me in person because of Christmas stuff and so we just had a phone conversation. I had a few questions to ask and she answered them all; she said there isn't anyone else (and I believe her), and I asked her whether she led me on - she said yes. It was a horrible conversation and I felt so far removed from her thoughts, it felt like being punched in the stomach.

So by this point I was pretty devastated and so I just left the rest of her stuff on her doorstep, knocked on the door and walked away. When I got to about halfway down the street her brother shouted me and came over, he said that she's a bitch for doing what she's done and to stay in touch because their family really likes me. It was really nice to hear someone from her side of things say something like that and I couldn't help but think more positively about things. Made me think that if she could do this to me so easily, in such a cowardly way and lead me on in the runup to it then I'm so much better off without her! I'm still in love with the girl I spent over two incredibly happy years of my life with, but I am so far from being in love with who she seems to have become.

Aaaaargh I have officially been groomed to be a Jehovah's Witness for the past year and nine months! Got an email from the lad saying I'd be a perfect JW as I have all these lovely qualities like not being judgmental etc and JW's "are not strict and boring, far from it". Good God!!!!!!!! :P

nah, couldn't do that. I text him last night after I read it saying we should just be friends and we just ended up texting back and forth about the Mighty Boosh and how he should get a telly in his room. I will not be brainwashed though!!!!!!!

A bit of rant. Why is it when you spot somebody that actually stops you in your tracks you find out they are taken :P

I went to a pub in the next town to me this afternoon for a cheeky drink with friends I haven't seen in a while and whilst we were all sat there chatting the door opened and the most stunning woman I have ever seen came through the door, I think my jaw actually dropped! :D If I could have actually put together my most perfect looking woman (a bit like Weird Science!) then she would look like her. My mates immediately cottoned onto the fact that I had clocked her coming in and started taking the piss (i'm not normally one to make it obvious).

This woman and her friends sat on the table next to us and for some reason we kept catching each others eye, I figured the next time she went to the bar etc i'd go up to the bar and start chatting to her and then, it happened, a bloke walked in and greeted her with a hug and a kiss (obviously her boyfriend/partner) :D . The eye contact then ceased. To say I was gutted is an understatement. Ok, so she may not have been gay but hey, I was picking up vibes and it would have been worth the brush off :D

i fancy a guy who was a friend of a friend, we met on my leaving night 3 days before I went away to live in america for a year, he came along to my party with a friend and after chatting, he asked me out, not realising it was my leaving party! in the time i was gone he has become a mate of my brother. so we occasionaly bump into each other, but i dunno if me now being the sister of a friend would make it weird for him? plus i hardly ever see him, and im fairly shy which makes it hard to make any kinda progress :P

would u doink a mates sister, or no?

I'm not talking about your friend "getting with" your sister, I'm talking about your friend and your sister developing a friendship of their own and then that turning into something more. It'd be awkward for a time but I can't say I'd stand in the way if it were my sister, and I can't say I'd hold back if I were the friend in question.

Yep, it's a bitch

Life would be so much easier if there were obvious ways to find that someone. My gaydar isn't brilliant so that doesn't help! To be honest I don't think women get offended, embarrassed maybe.

What would you guys and gals do/think if somebody of the same sex made a move on you and you weren't that way inclined?

Hey there everyone!

I need some supermassive good advice on this....

I went out the eve of chrimbo eve with a good friend of mine I havent seen for ages.

Basically we got really drunk and when it came to the end of the night, we ended up having a heated kiss and....well...cant say the rest in a message! but I stopped it saying that she didnt want it as she was so drunk. she then staggered around a bit and then said i want to go home.

I didnt want her going home alone so I basically made damn sure she got in a taxi to get home.

I didnt get a txt saying she got home ok the next day so was totally freaked out by it, I txt her 3 times asking if she was ok. I eventually got a txt saying im fine merry xmas babe X and I havent heard from her since then after ive text her a couple of times.

I now dont want to come across as a complete idiot and am worried ive pretty much broke her heart as she thinks I wasnt interested...far from it, it was a complete surprise, and if I knew the feelings were genuine I would definitely follow them up.

So now I dont know what to do her, call her and see how she is, or just leave it as shes not replying to my txts (could be busy who knows!)

any ideas?

PS.....Ahhhh!! :lol::P
