a few points

SOT - well she didn't soften last time there was an issue like this, but that was six years ago.

Pogo - I'd like to get them together but it's tough logistically. I'm sure they will sometime, and I can only hope that goes well.

Kat - Her objections are based in academic, social and religious prejudice. Whether those are valid or not I suppose depends on the person - but if I don't have those prejudices, and I like to think I don't, I would rather my mother reserved her judgment. I think you are right about her being scared of losing me too though - all the more as I'm an only child. Parental jealousy seems really wrong though, don't you think?

it is nice having someone chasing you as long as it doesnt end up with an awkward having to let them down gently type thing! One person after me just now who is actually a lovely guy but it wouldnt be possible because of a professional relationship, but I know it will never come to me having to turn him down as he knows where we stand already.

I had an ex from Norway who was a bit of a stalker too, we went out for like 2 months in America, then he had this idea we would get back together when I came home to Scotland, but i moved on, saw other lads etc. He still sent me gifts and stuff all the time, then I found out from a mutual friend that he had booked flights from Norway to America to surprise me!! I didnt know what to do, I didnt want him to come, but I also didnt wanna let him know that Mikey had ruined the surprise. In the end i broke my ankle and came home, so managed to get out of it! he changed his flight to go skiing in canada or something lol. I felt terrible though

I really do not take a good photo, I look horrific in every one and this leads me to avoid cameras at all costs! I don't actually have many photos of myself, and the ones I do have are painful on the eye.
