Anyone else (besides Rabid and Greenfairy) sickeningly happy at the moment? Whether single or not?

I'm fairly sickeningly happy but daren't talk about that too much lest it all goes wrong, and I find myself eating my words with a generous dollop of horseradish (or similarly bitter sauce!)

I met the bloke's parentals. I think this may mean we are getting quite serious.....

They were lovely, I hope they liked me!!

We also went out mountain biking in the snow and then for pub lunch by an open fire watching the snow out of the window. I hated having to leave his bed this morning

Aye, me too. And you know, I'm glad someone else I had my eye on turned out to be a bit of a dick, because if he hadn't I never would have opened myself up (oooer) to the stunningly lovely Mr Cheese.

I've no doubts it went perfect. You normally get a feeling when meeting the 'parents' for the first time as to whether they will turn out to be in-laws or out-laws! There is nothing wrong with getting serious, from reading your posts you seem to have a blast together and enjoy being part of a couple, meeting the parents is just the next step!

And as for the mountain biking, snow and pub lunch Sounds like the perfect time, I'd love that! Stick a log cabin by a lake with that scene and it's perfect

It gets worse. She was picked up from work after a long shift with a bunch of flowers in the car, driven home to find a lovely dinner in the oven and candles on the table and handed a glass of wine and her pipe and made to sit down in front of her favourite TV show while I finished off the cooking..

Ohhhh, you are so lovely to her! But she definately deserves it.

Mr Cheese knows I'm not a flower person so he's never bought me flowers. He cooks for me all the time though (yes, generally cheese based dishes) and he makes sure I'm well looked after. Only time will tell if he'll continue, it's things like that which keep us women happy I find. We just want to be thought highly of really, and I don't think that's a lot to ask, considering how special us nice ones are

I obviously make sure he's well looked after too, I even make chilli hotter than I personally like it, because I know he likes it super hot

The scarifices we make for lov liking someone a lot.

It's good to hear when people are finding somebody, it's gives the rest of hope. So, Katster, Greenfairy, Rabid etc should go nowhere! I could think of nothing worse than only depressed singletons posting on this thread!
