I don't know if Sifi's sentiment is genuine but lonelyness can make us do things out of the box. I think I have given up looking on companionship, but then I have my teenage kids around me all the time which takes alot of my time.

I'm aware of the corrosive influence of loneliness - we've all been lonely in our time. What I am criticising most though is not only failing to recognise the wrongness of one's actions but also glorying in them!
