Parklife have done it, and completely sold out in "pre-sale" a couple times now.. I think generally speaking it's best to assume that pre-sale could well be the only chance, and if not still likely the best chance for any in demand show.
I'm very intrigued for the poster. I am also very excited because once again, I put something on my form (Plz can we have a US act?) and they've delivered. I always feel like my questionnaire really does get read and considered every year. Gives me the warm and fuzzies.
They could have made it easy and just had SEX or FIRE with the cherries and saved a few quid on the sign.
I know KOL are much maligned on Efestivals but I am a fan, so well in for this and go see them when ever I can. Would have rather had Pulp on rareness as KOL likely to keep going for years.
I really hope that Victorious move forward and we do get another big name and not two fillers. Common sense says it will cost to much, but how many extra tickets could they sell with bigger names.
We really need that poster.
I've considered it after being towed -in- and out of East fields a few times. But the bus puts me off, perhaps one day, when i'm too feeble to walk up the hill at 5am
Not being in any was judgemental here (crack on!), but we weighed it up and decided we wouldn't do it with our two year old. I think the overcrowding and size of the place would just make it a really hard slog that I can't be arsed with (especially if it's wet). Plus I just associate the place with being completely off my head and it doesn't seem right 😄
We booked Green Man as a more straightforward entry to festivals with a toddler, basically to see how it goes. Not that the weather is expected to be good there, mind you.
