I'm the best bird ever, if I do say so myself. Not only did I care not about celebrating our 'anniversary' last week but his birthday is coming up and I've got him a Wii fit board that he wanted so that he can get a snowboarding game along with tickets to see Kasabian which he has no idea I've got and it's on his actual birthday and I'm going to tell him we're just going out in Manchester for a few beers :P

You boys in here missed out big time!!! :P

No I am!!

It was Rabid's birthday on Monday & on Sunday, we poppped round to his parents, with his kids, for Birthday cake I'd made that morning. Then I presented him with a packed bag, told him his folks were having the kids for the afternoon & we were off! It wasn't until we were on the train, on the way there that he sussed we were off to York for the night.

Beautiful room, ghost walk, lush meal, tickets for Alabama 3 so he can perv at the gorgeous singer, a perfect day wandering & wowing...

I'M the best girlfriend! Fact!! :P:P

It's Mrs LW's birthday in a few weeks. We're very poor so she hasn't asked for much. I'm compiling her a CD (based on many hints she's dropped over the past 12 months) with a photo of the baby holding my guitar as the cover, and a DVD of Willo The Wisp. But she's also getting series 2 of Outnumbered on DVD.

I've booked the day off, so I'm sorting out a picnic for her - my parents have a nice conservatory in case it rains.

The whole thing is costing me less than £20, but I know it'll mean more to her than anything that costs a bomb. And she'd shout at me as it's our money!!

I can't wait actually - her first birthday as a mum. :P
