Just remember that things can change in a flash... I was a solidly no-hoper single until my best friend asked if she could "say something that might make this a bit awkward" and told me she liked me.

So don't lose hope!

Of course, you can also be quite happy remaining single like Katster! :lol:

Woo off out tonight in Salisbury peeps, let's hope that if anything flirtatious were to happen I'll have better luck than last time (weirdo who wouldn't stop following me, and a psycho hair sniffer!) I'm not fussed to be honest, more happy that I'm having a night out with me gal pals than anything; but I'll probably be back with more weirdo tales over the weekend :lol:

Naaahhh i have a rule that if your single and its valentines day you def have to hit the bars with your mates. Its usually a great night out most other single people are drinking in bars/pubs. Plus easy to tell if people are actually single cause if they are not they def won't be out alone. go on go out enjoy the night :lol:

i broke up with my girlfriend last thursday, sucks so much, man i hate being single!

i have absolutely no idea how i used to cope with it for so long!

ah well, lucky it happened before i started planning valentines day though!

You'll never guess what.........I went out with the guy on Friday and we had some ostrich on skewers. We were sharing starters and got to the last skewer, there were two pieces of meat on it so I suggested we had one each.........I'm telling him the story about how I once flicked a piece of meat at a guy trying to get it off a skewer and just as I'm telling him.........I only go and do it again :):):O it wasn't as bad this time, it never left the table, but it was made worse by the fact that I was telling him how embarrassing it had been, and then went and did it all over again. What an idiot, no wonder I'm single :P

We had a good night out but as I suspected it's not going to lead anywhere. We get along but more as old friends.

Bets are still on guys B)

Well I had a crappy weekend. Me and a newly singled friend went out to a gig in Sheffield. The only problem is that he has quite an appetite for women and doesn't care who he f*cks off in the process. I met a couple of lasses that were really nice, but he did the same with both of them... waited till i'd been chatting to them for a while and then barged in and started putting me down to a point where I had to move away. There was one I really liked and I ended up having to watch them getting off all evening and then had to walk home with them. I can't really hold it against the guy... he's a cock, it's more of an affliction than something he does deliberatelly, the only problem is that he tends to treat women like crap, just wants to get laid and doesn't care if that upsets the other person involved. I don't think i'll be going out on the pull with him again though.

That's nothing... just coming up to four years though. Pretty much out of choice though. It'd be a pretty special girl that could either keep up with or put up with my festival/going out all over the place habits.... Usually keep things casual because of this. Hopefully I'm off to uni in September so may try and bag myself one whilst there :)

I let it go when Goblinz said something about him and his mate going out on the pull. On the pull? I hate that saying. It's not a cattle market, well it is, but I wish it bloody well wasn't. And I didn't expect it from Goblinz!!
