I *almost* bought Smash Bros last week... $49+tax + I'd have to buy a freeloader for £10ish... but I can see nintendo blocking out the freeloader with a firmware update, and didn't fancy wasting the money

I too got PGR4 on Monday (came in the bundle with elite) and I too am suprised by how much fun I'm having with it (the nurburgring in snow with a 50's racer was the most fun I've had on a videogame in ages)

All other PGR's I've bought, I've battled with them for a little while, before losing all enthusiasm and selling them. There's something a little different with PGR4, I've no idea what it is, firstly it seems a little more forgiving than previous PGR's, but if I ever fail a race instead of throwing the controller accross the room I take it in my stride a bit more.

Same here. Realised I had enough games to last me another month and could also sense that Nintendo would end up blocking the Freeloader soon.

But we get Mario Kart first, so who cares? I'd take Mario Kart over Smash Brothers everytime, so go Europe (for once) !.

It's the best golf game i've played on any system, the ps1 and ps2 versions were brilliant, very easy to pick up and great with a few mates, looking forward to playing it online. Tiger woods is pants compared to this

On another note has anyone else played army of two? just received it from love film and after palying it for an hour or so i've got to say it's very dissapointing, just glad i rented it first

I have a 360, its very nice, my thing really is snowboarding/skating type games, could anyone recommend something in this genre for the 360? I bought COD4, R6Vegas2 and Frontlines, but I know before the weekend is out I will need some boarding type game.

amped 3 is fookin ace peter, it was a launch title, but it is ace. you will pick it up for f**k all in the used section of any games store. I'm talking under a tenner.

Skate is very highly acclaimed, a bit tricky on the controls at first, but very very rewarding once you nail it. there is a demo on the xbox live market place. grab it man!

saw you had earned your winged dagger on cod4. that game just keeps getting better, you really should take the plunge on the multiplayer.

I will as soon as I find my feet, to be honest I have never really excelled at first persons, I am a bit crap at them if the truth be known, I will give it a stab soon though.

cheers. I downloaded it, Amped 3, I used to have one of the amped series for the xbox, it wasnt a bad game and the demo played well so I may give that a stab later on.
