Much prefer the 360 still, i've only got 3 games for the ps3 though cause any game that is on both of them i'm going to get for the 360.I probably can't really justify having it really as there aren't many ps3 exclusives i'm looking forward to

Loving everybody's golf, but since the new maps were released for cdo4 last night i don't think the ps3 is going to get a look in for a while now.

The blu-ray looks a lot better than the hd-dvd, but that's probably because i've got the ps3 through hdmi

im about 4 days into PS3, and i love it...Blu-rays awesome.

to be honest, u'd expect Xbox to have the better exclusives atm, but i have COD4, and Devil may Cry 4 on the PS3, and they're obviously the same, so all i can see is that ive got free net, a browser, a better store, great quality through HDMI, and a better interface (imo), as a trade off against not having Halo 3, Gears and installation times, and tbh, i think Drakes, Resistance, Rachet and Clank and the controller (better than the xbox for me, although i like he xbox one.) are more than enough to make up for a lack of a huge game. AND i don't have to get a plug and charge kit or endless batteries.

and think, the PS3 is a year behind, but twice as powerful. The way the PS3 looks now is exactly as the xbox did a year ago, give it a bit of ime and like the other two playstations, this will be the one to have.

and if you havent got Warhawk, GET IT! its just Halo for the PS3, 32 player servers, seriously, more fun online than COD4.

The batteries aren't an issue for me with the 360 as i've just got a load of rechargeable ones, i think the interface of the 360 is a lot better than the ps3's but that's just my opinion.

I haven't got warhawk, people have been tellig me to get it but if it's like halo i think i;ll give it a miss, that's one game i've never really wanted on the 360, doesn't really interest me.

I really find it hard to belive it's better than cod4 online

whilst I agree that its all down to personal choice, you cannot seriously argue that the psn store is even close to being as good as the live marketplace? and when the rechargable cell dies inside your controller, how do you replace it? you buy a new controller, thats how.

if the ps3 is twice as powerful, why cant it run games as well as the 360 ATM? In fact Id say that the fact that the 360 runs games at better framerate, with full anti aliasing than the ps3 is a +1 for the 360 seeing as it was released a year+ before the ps3.

I dont like stoking the 360 vs ps3 fire, but I really couldnt let those arguements go without challenging them.

Nah not yet, may do, but its come out so late, it feels out of date already

any idea if they are gunna release another and when, its sold well, from what I can see

was gunna buy Mario & Sonic at Olympics today from tesco £24! but they'd sold out

Bit worried about Mario Kart actually everywhere seems sold out pre orders, I bet im gunna end up paying £39.99 which I will not do

Asda online are selling Nights for £14, gunna have to pick it up

The ps3 is more powerful than the xbox360, that is a fact.

But the xbox360 has had longer with developers, so right now developers can optimize everything with xbox games to a high degree.

The main factor is the multiplatform, as xbox has been the number one for next gen over the last couple of years companies have been designing multiplatform games for the xbox first and then not spending as much time on the ps3 version. So the xbox has come out looking better on some games.

This is slowly changing, 70% of multi platform games coming out now are looking equal if not better on the ps3, due to developers spending more time getting the best out of the ps3, and dedicating more time to its development due to the growing userbase.

Within the next year you will see ps3 games start to go ahead of xbox on multiplatform games, but its the first party games developed exclusively for the ps3 which are really going to start showing off what it can do. metal gear should be a good example of that.

Heyyy,

So I was always a Nintendo boy with the N64, then moved on to PS2 and didnt realy get into it much apart from the odd game.

Thinking of getting a Wii, anyone recommend what deals to look out for, like would it be better getting the numchuck controller and getting more than one controller etc, and are the Mario games as good as always?

Started preparing to dedicate my free time to mario kart at the weekend by completing all the missions in Bully , might go back for 100% at some point in the future.

However I'm still left with:

Mass Effect (which I've hardly looked at)

Bioshock (which I haven't looked at at all)

Blue Dragon (same as Bioshock)

Mario Galaxy (Up to just over 100 stars)

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2.

Uncharted (got a fair way through in 1 session and haven't gone back to since...I blame Rock Band... in fact I blame Rock Band for most of the unplayed games on this list!)
