Halcyon
Had a go on Mario Kart online last night. I can't believe how well integrated it all is.... nice and easy, relativley fast to setup, absolutely no noticeable lag. Perhaps felt a bit impersonal without voice chat, but at least you don't have whiney yankees swearing down the telly at you. Loved the little parade of people and where they're from before the races, a nice touch, and the track vote system works well too. Nintendo finally seem to have sorted themselves out online. Needed YET ANOTHER update afterwards as well, but at least that one didn't f**k up. Don't get Devil May Cry 4...1 whole hour installing...its a good thing the consoles so good.. btw, really recommend Tekken 5 Online. Check it out on the PSN Store, its awesome. t8yman
That's why I'm never buying an Xbox. I just know the majority of Live players are going to be sweaty teenage Americans in their parents' basement in their 'gaming chair'. Counter Strike Source really started to bug me at a point that I just turned off mic sound. Which really sucked because I was part of a clan and didn't know what the f**k my team mates were saying. Jaybles
well at least you havent jumped to that decision based on ignorance . you can permanently mute any player you like on xbox live, I play almost everyday, and every day is a joy. you either meet some great people, or you get the satisfaction of adding another tosser to your mute list. xboxlive isnt full of whiny tossers. and just about every argument I have ever been witness to has been as a result of someone assuming every yank is a tosser. on a side note, if anyone is still looking to preorder wii fit, I got one reserved at game (instore) today. modey
Are people actually seriously interested in wiifit? Looks terrible, why not just work out normally and quit hogging the wii with stupid games like that ">
Greeny_Musicchild
It's a bug. Load the game and do the update from within, it will eventually work. Hardly confidence inspiring admittedly.
jacketspud
Are people actually seriously interested in wiifit? Looks terrible, why not just work out normally and quit hogging the wii with stupid games like that we have one on order for my other halfs birthday - i wouldn't have got it myself and I'm the one that really needs to get fit but he wanted one so thats what hes getting. There is always the hype before the game - have to say that i wasn't sure about the wii itself - thought it looked a bit gimmicky but have almost eaten my words so we shall see - I. may well be the "best stand on one legger" on the boards by May! There is no way i am doing the press up s though NO WAy.
Purple Monkey
I saw a video of Scott Mills demo-ing the Wii-Fit thing and he basically said it's just a game, you can't get fit with it or use it for excercise. I reckon it has some novelty value but seeing as it's not got that serious functionality I find it slightly pointless.
lost
I want to have a moan about minimum requirements, went into game to look at Assassins creed, 2.2gig dual core minimum, reccomended 2.6. Now mass effect has quoted minimum system requirements of a 2.4+ dual core, got mine overclocked to 3 Gig, i was hoping it would do me 18 months now thats not looking likely

lost
Wouldn't worry too much. A stupid ammount of RAM and the best GPU you can afford will compensate for anything lacking from your CPU
