Decided not to go to Game at midnight tonight and just go as early as tomorrow morning. Does anyone know if they're opening extra early? I can't see anything about it on their website, just stuff about the midnight opening.

I pre-ordered my GTA4 (Special Edition That's right, i'm cool) with HMV and they dispactched yesterday at 5am. They also gave me a tracking number which turns out to be about as useful as a punch in the face. But hey...its not tuesday quite yet.

I didn't see too much point in getting the special edition, how much do I really want a bag a box and a CD, all of which will very rarely, if ever, be used?! Also, when I first get GTA, nothing else will be getting a look in, especially some shiny trinkets!

I got the S.E. from HMW aswell, but only because they'd sold out of normal copies. and they'd knocked a tenner off, making it 60 squid. Not bad imo

It took me ages to get through to the Princes St. branch But I assume it's nationwide as the midnight opening appears to be.

Hmmmm. Yesterday I check play.com and it said that my copy of GTA had been dispatched on thursday or friday last week. I didn't receive an email about it until this morning, and now the website says it was dispatched today

just got a text and it told me to bring this along with proof of age id. all the guy did was swipe my card and take my mobile number

ooooo im finally caving in a buying a xbox tomoz....gta4 is turning out to be one bloody expensive game

had to get all the GTA4 ready at work today - so exciting!! although after taking the disc and booklet out of 80 copies i was sick of looking at it

Exactly the same here. i will be so annoyed if it dosent come tommorow cause my work rota has worked out well and i have the next two days off. i will cry if i dont get it in time

on joystiq.com it says if you preordered instore at Game they can only guarantee you a copy if you did it before the 6th of april...

When i was in my local GAME shop the other week the shop assistant said that they were planning on either openning at midnight or increasing opening hours. Might be worth popping into your nearest store and double checking the opening hours for the GTA4 launch. Could prevent you standing yonks in a que when you could pop in a few hours early or later and pick up your copy straight away.
