Superscally
Hi guys, we're going to take our SU minibus to the IoW on Thursday morning sometime and we should have about 5+ or so places going spare, with loads of space for ale and tents etc if people want a lift from Potters Bar (Just north of London, J 23 on M25) to the festy, coming back on Monday afternoon sometime. AS this is a not-for-profit-all-for-fun enterprise, all it will cost you is an equal share of the diesel and ferry fare, which would be a lot less than pretty much any other way there now... Anyone fancy it, let me know on here and we'll save you a spot...

Edi M
As it would take two tubes and a train to get to Potters Bar, (wherever that is) I might as well just get the train from Waterloo to Portsmouth. I'm sure your bus will be fun fun fun though.
LeBenji
Yeah, afraid I don't need a lift, I'm already training it to Soton n all that malarky. So no worries
Superscally
Right. Fun fun bus of fun details, in case anyone wants in: Leave Potters Bar (we can pick up from High Barnet Tube or PB is 15 mins on train from Kings Cross) at 7:30 to get to Southampton for a 12:00 noon sailing. Get to the festy for half one-ish. We can carry tons of booze, tents, gazebos without the hassle of being a foot passenger. The bus is secure so you can fetch your stuff in more than one go instead of the hour of agony of doing it in one hit... Ferry crossing is £103 with the bus. So far there's 5 of us, so about £21 each for the crossing - a couple more people makes it the same price as being a foot passenger, without the hassle of lugging your shit for miles and you get a lift from North London. Everyone chips in for diesel... We're getting the 16:30 ferry back so we'll be back at PB for about 20:00, giving enough time to chill out on the Monday and early enough to whatever you so choose that evening! Any takers?
