Yo, just had lunch with a mate who swears blind that at Jimmy Eat World's gig in Camden last month they self confirmed themselves for Download and the Isle of Wight.

Seems like something you'd struggle to make up.

where would they play? mainstage? there is space on sunday. or they might play in the big top. possibly as main support on one of the nights. however they are playing in norway on friday 13th, and download on sunday 15th. so that only leaves the saturday to play the mainstage. personally im not a big fan so id hope that if anyone else does get announced, its someone better.

Glad there are some supporters of JEW. Didnt think this forum would be as pro them as I am. They really are hugely talented and would add something a little different to the line up.

It would be fantastic if they played! I saw them at both of their sets in Reading last year, absolutely fantastic

No reason they cant play both mate.

so that leaves the bandstand. can u honestly see them playing the bandstand? alongside sugababes and the australlian pink floyd show?

I was at the Camden gig - Jim went on about Download but I'm pretty sure he didn't say anything about IOW.
