Eight bands have been confirmed as added to the bill of the new Download Festival, whcih is taking place at Donington Park on 31st May/1st June.
Joining Iron Maiden, Deftones and Marilyn Manson on the Saturday are Ministry, InMe, and Slipknot's Joey Jordisons "other" band Murderdolls.
On the Sunday line-up with Limp Bizkit and Audioslave, Zwan make their first UK festival appearance, along with Less Than Jake, Disturbed, Stone Sour and (hed)pe.
All the above bands will play the Main Stage, with more still to be added. Bands for the Scuzz Stage and the Radio 1/Kerrang! Stage will announced over the coming weeks, and the line-up is now being expanded to more than 70 bands over those stages on the two days.
