Tickets for V Festival are really selling fast! This is not just hype to get you to spend your money sooner.
The initial allocation of Chelmsford weekend tickets with camping have sold out at major ticket agencies, although Way Ahead will have a further allocation as tickets are being recalled from other vendors and should be made available "very soon" - tickets from Way Ahead are available through the "BUY" links to the left, or the link below.
Th official word from V Festivals is: "All tickets are selling very fast though and we would advise people to buy now to avoid disappointment." So you've been warned!
In other news, Queens of the Stone Age have been announced for the Lollapalooza tour, which moves around the USA right through July and August, and many tour listings sites have replaced their V Festival dates with the Lollapalooza dates. However, we're assured by the V Festival promoters that Queens of the Stone Age are definitely playing V on the 16th and 17th August, and NOT Lollapalooza.
V Festival takes place at both Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex, and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 16th/17th August.
Confirmed bands include headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay, as well as Foo Fighters, David Gray, PJ Harvey, Queens Of The Stone Age, Ash, Underworld, Feeder, Morcheeba andf The Roots, with more to be added over the coming months.
Tickets are priced at £42.50 for either day, or £75 for both days (with NO camping, £90 for both days WITH camping. Campervans cost £30.
NOTE: Campervans - Customers purchasing a camper van pass must already have a weekend and camping ticket. There is a maximum of 4 people allowed into each camper van, all of whom need to have a weekend and camping ticket.
