Around 19,000 were at Stonehenge this morning to celebrate the summer solstice sunrise. The numbers this year were around 10,000 less than last year, but many more felt able to attend then, with last year falling on the weekend.

Unfortunately, with the mist last night the sun was obscured for about 15 minutes, but it broke through to create a lovely morning.

Have a great summer! Happy solstice.
