Following this mornings announcement of bands for the new Music Choice Stage (see here), more bands have also been announced.

New for the NME Stage are Chikinki, and Kasabian, who plays at Weston Park Staffs on the Saturday, and Hylands Park Chelmsford on the Sunday, as well as Black Velvets, who play on the opposite days.

And new for the JJB/Puma Arena are Kristian Leontiou, Josh Ritter, and Headway, who play at Weston Park Staffs on the Saturday, and Hylands Park Chelmsford on the Sunday, while Freestylers, and Aqualung will play the opposite days.

V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 21st/22nd August 2004.

Acts already confirmed include the headliners of The Strokes, and Dido, as well as Muse, Pixies, Pink, Snow Patrol, Keane, Massive Attack, Kings of Leon, Primal Scream, N*E*R*D, Athlete, Faithless, The Thrills, Badly Drawn Boy, Jet, Jamelia, Jamie Cullum, and many more. Nearly all tickets have now gone for this year's V Festival. All camping tickets have now completely sold out and there are only a limited number of day tickets still available - get 'em while you still can!

Tickets are priced at: weekend with camping £98.50; Weekend no camping £82.50; Saturday or Sunday day tickets £46.50. Tickets for both sites are available here.
