Glastonbury Festival is to have a 'silent disco', reports the BBC.

It's to be done using a free set of headphones complete with bass, volume and treble controls, which will be given to people at the dance tent after the main music curfew*, meaning they can have the music as loud as they like without any danger of upsetting nearby residents.

The idea was Emily Eavis', but great minds must think alike: 'MrDigs' suggested the idea on our Glastonbury forums on 21st December last year.

Tickets for the Festival go on sale this coming Sunday - see here for the details.
