Hard-fi have cancelled their appearance at Wakestock - the wakeboard music festival - which takes place at Pwllheli Inner Marina and Abersoch Beach, Abersoch, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales from Friday 22nd until Saturday 23rd July.

Wakestock say that it's due to the band's decision to to now spend July touring the USA. Mark Durston, Wakestock Promoter commented "We are obviously disappointed by Hard-fi’s decision not to perform at Wakestock in July, we anticipated the band would go big from the time we confirmed them to play, but maybe this is now to our detriment. We wish the band the best of luck during their time in the States and I am sure we will see them play at Wakestock in the near future."

Another act is expected to be booked in their place, to join the line-up which includes Bodyrockers, Layo & Bushwacka, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul, Jon Carter, DJ Format, Scratch Perverts featuring Dynamite MC, and more on the Friday, and Hundred Reasons, The Undertones, Million Dead, Thirteen Senses, Kano, Bugz in the Attic, and more on the Saturday. Tickets are selling at record speed, and the organisers are predicting that tickets will sell out before the end of June - if you plan on going, don't hang about!

Tickets are priced at £40 for the weekend or £25 per day, and £15 for camping (from Thursday to Sunday). Click here to buy.
