Latitude which takes place at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th July 2006 has announced some more additions to the line-up

Latitude are pleased to announce the exclusive world premieres of two brand new short plays from young playwrights Dave Moore and David Dipper, who have been specially commissioned for the festival. They will be performed in the Theatre Tent which already includes an exclusive performance of 12 short plays entitled ‘Angry Now’ from the Royal Court Theatre, the first major theatre company to perform at a UK outdoor music and arts festival.

Other theatre tent confirmations include Dante or Die theatre group, along with Sophie Dix and Rebecca Thorn performing a piece written by Shenagh Cameron about women overwhelmed by the deeper, darker sides of rural and city life and Josh Darcy and Penny Dimond of Boris and Gleb Productions present Anton Chekhov's famous comic jest ‘The Bear’.

Also confirmed for the Theatre Tent is 'Happy' by Richard Warburton, '16 minutes' by Matt Harley, ‘Tex Bigley - How to Make a Movie’ by Dave Florez, and The Dialogue Project. Scarabeus will also be performing 'Arboreal' in the trees.

Product 01, The Dialogue Project, and Richard Dedomenici are the latest performers to be added to the Film and Music Tent.

Thomasina Miers, Glen Duncan anmd Tiffany Murray are the latest names to be confirmed for the Vox ‘n’ Roll tent.

The Barefoot Doctor, who has treated celebrities from Madonna and Jade Jagger to Pink Floyd, and regularly appears on TV and Radio, will perform a musical and spiritual extravaganza in Latitude’s magical forested area at midnight on Thursday and Friday.

Jeff Green, Simon Evans, Hattie Hayridge, Jim Jeffries, Owen O'Neil, Mark Watson, Nick Revell, Tony Woods, Scott Capurro, Danielle Ward, Tom Stade, and Mitch Benn have all been added to the Comedy Tent.

Tickets are priced at £95 for Weekend tickets, with Day tickets £40 for any day. Weekend tickets prices include car parking and camping. Days include car parking only. Click here to buy.
