Over the last three nights, the Glastonbury Festival 'emerging talent' competition has been holding its finals, with eight bands each night performing in front of a panel of judges that included festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis, for the chance to win slots on the John Peel, Dance, Jazzworld and Acoustic stages at this year's festival.
As ever, the quality of the finalists was fantastic but they couldn't all win - we'll have a full review with photos online soon. The judges came to their decision, and the following acts become the first officially confirmed for the Festival in June.
John Peel Stage: The Grim Northern Social
Dance: Dr Meaker
Jazzworld: Feluka
Acoustic: The Epstein, and Liz Green
overall winner: Liz Green
Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June (with the gates opening on the Wednesday).
