Endorse-It In-Dorset 2007
Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August 2007nearish to Salisbury, but somewhere in Dorset, England
£75 for the three days
Endorse-It In-Dorset, the 3-day camping festival which takes place from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August in Dorset has announced more acts.
They've done it again! Last year was RDF/Military Surplus, this year The Cropdusters have reformed to play at Endorse-It In Dorset. The band, formed in the 80s, were at the forefront of the alternative music scene, touring extensively over Europe and playing major festivals (Reading, etc). The Cropdusters were already playing sell out gigs at venues such as The Mean Fiddler when bands such as The Sea, The Levellers and other folk/punk bands were beginning to gain publicity. Unfortunately some band members have passed on/left, but their places have been admirably filled by a few familiar faces. Now The Cropdusters are back with the fully charged folk/punk sound that gained them their place in music history.
Also reforming after nine years away to play at this year's festival are the very very fast folk punk band Tofu Love Frogs - a very familiar name to older festival goers. Says Goff "I defy you not to dance. We are looking forward to going for it again and meeting everyone weve not seen for years.."
Also newly confirmed are the kings of cow-punk Pronghorn, The Highliners, The Big, Bison, Peeping Toms, Magic Skool Bus, Tarantism, Toupe, Dead Plants, and Lazy Habits.
They join the line-up that include The Undertones, Dreadzone, 3 Daft Monkeys, Zion Train, Lee Scratch Perry, Mad Professor, Eat Static, Back To The Planet, The Ukrainians, Cracked Actors, Subgiant, Goldblade, and many more - for the full details (to date) see here. There's many morte acts still to be confirmed.
Tickets are on sale - click here to buy.
The ticket prices are as follows:-
Adult weekend with camping: £75
Family weekend with camping (2 adults & 2 kids aged 10 to 15): £210
Kids (aged 10 to 15) weekend with camping: £40
Under-10s: £10
Campervans/Caravans £10
Endorse-It In-Dorset is keeping to the same size as last year - 5,000 capacity - and with the best line-up yet the organisers have a few new exciting things up their sleeves for this year.
The festival is held on a site overlooking Cranbourne Chase in Dorset, the vibe is a safe, family friendly old school type of festival, with a reputation for quality entertainment at an affordable price. The festival has the same licences as last year, so theres something to do during your whole time at the festival.
