Latitude which takes place at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th July 2006 have announced more of the non-musical entertainment on offer.
Music and Film Arena
The Music & Film Arena is now starting to take shape, and will display a range of films, shorts and documentaries. Phil Collins will be bringing his film dünya dinlemiyor to the festival; and will be talking about the global impact of The Smiths, and their influence on his own work.
On Friday there will be a Q&A session from filmmaker's Chris Shepherd and Carol Morley, and on Saturday there will be an audio visual set from Zan Lyons. Youthrockers will be returning to the Music & Film arena, collaborating with Jonquil. There will also be music from Little Sparta and Jeremy Warmsley, both mixing their music with innovative films.
Latitude will also be hosting films by emerging women film-makers, as part of the Birds Eye View Film Festival, followed by a panel featuring women film-makers offering an insight on their experiences in the indutry.
There will be a number of films on display including Zidane, A 21st-Century Portrait (with a soundtrack from Mogwai), and there will be music from Lucy & The Caterpillar.
Literary Arena
Additions to the Literary Arena are London's literary night out, 'Book Slam', featuring writers Richard Milward, Xialou Guo, Helen Oyeyemi, Diane Birch, and Mpho Skeef.
Other authors attending Latitude will be Peter Wild, Rebecca Ray, Esther Freud, Mike Gayle, Dan Crowe, William Fiennes, Matt Thorne, Will Hodginkson, Lynsey Hanley, Barrie Sherwood, Lana Citron, Sarfraz Manzoor, Stuart Silver, and Ma Jian.
Comedy
Latest additions to this year's comedy arena are Paul Tonkinson, Christian Reilly, Ria Lina, Steve Gribbin, Angie McEvoy, Kitty Flanagan, Sarah Millican, Matt Blaize, and Ben Hurley.
Poetry Arena
The poetry arena will be showcasing material from the following newly confirmed artists: Dockers MC, Croc E Moses, Sundown Poets, Simon Miles, A Poem Inbetween People, Hannah Walker, Guy Jackson, and Jamalmsebele.
Finally, there have been two more additions to the Cabaret Arena. These are Adora and Lenny Biege.

Music at Latitude includes Damien Rice headlining the Friday, The Good, The Bad And The Queen headlining on the Saturday, and Arcade Fire headlining on the Sunday.
