Latitude which takes place at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th July 2006 have confirmed the line-up for The Lake Stage, and additions to the music and film, literature, theatre, and cabaret arenas.

Positioned on the banks of the lake at Latitude, the aptly named 'Lake Stage', introduced by Huw Stephens, will feature performances from I was a Cub Scout (headlining on Friday), Dan Le Sac vs Scroobious Pip (headlining on Saturday) and Blood Red Shoes (Sunday headliners).

The list of other acts playing the stage across the weekend are T.A.N.A.O.U, Friendly Fires, The Hot Puppies, Metronomy, Jo Lean And The Jing Jang Jong, Brigadier Ambrose Middleman Voice Of The Seven Woods, The Teenagers, Monkey Swallows The Universe, Mr Hopkinsons Computer, Vessels, The Duloks, Eugene Mcguinness, The Bobby Mcgees, Sunset Cinema Club, Scouting For Girls, Slow Club, Liz Green, The Gentle Good, George Pringle, James Severy, Pop Up, My Two Toms, Cate Le Bon, Threatmantics, and Sam Isaac.

There have also been new additions to the Music and Film Arena:

Richard Curtis' The Girl in the Cafe, Shane Meadows & Mark Herbert's This Is England, Alfred Hitchcock's The Lodger (accompanied by a live orchestra, conducted by Robert Ziegler composed by Joby Talbot), and a special preview screening of Hallam Foe.

New additions to the Literary Arena are Word Theatre with James Franco, Amanda Seyfried, Ron Carlson, Lucy Brown, Richard Hawley, and Ian Hart.

New additions to the Theatre Arena Addition are the Royal Court Theatre with writers Joe Penhall, Polly Stenham, Bola Agbaje, DC Jackson, Tim Price, and David Watson.

Writing new plays exclusively for Latitude as part of nabokov’s innovative ‘Shorts’ are Mike Bartlett, Joel Horwood and Duncan MacMillan.

Paines Plough present 'Murder at Gobbler's Wood' by Robin French, Dennis Kelly and Enda Walsh.

The Bush Theatre with a script-in-hand performance entitled ‘Punchlines: Five Short Plays About Jokes’ with Jack Thorne, Lucy Kirkwood, Ian McHugh, Declan Freenan, and Steve Thompson.

New Cabaret Arena additions are Vauxhallville, The Beautiful And The Damned, Girl And Dean, Bikini Beach Band, The Penny Dreadfuls, Patti Plinko And Her Boy, The Urban Voodoo Machine, and Ophelia Bitz.
