There'll also be a marqueed Stage 2 with a capacity of 2000 capacity (Friday 6pm-1am; Sat 1pm-1am; Sun noon-6pm), a 600 capacity Stage 3 Marquee with local showcases, workshops and alternative entertainment plus late night dance music (Friday 6pm-4am; Sat noon-4am; Sun 9pm-12am), and Stage 4 Marquee with mainly acoustic acts in a chilled out intimate living room themed marquee with own cafe (Friday 6pm-1am; Sat noon-1am; Sun noon-6pm).
Blissfields is an intimate festival for all the family in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. This is a festival for people who want something as far removed from the big commercial festivals as you can get! There will be quality food and beer (including real ales) on sale.
The festival promotes quality unsigned and up and coming bands. They are looking at hosting 'battle of the bands' during the year with the winners getting slots at next years event. They will also be hosting Blissfields evenings throughout the year with bands who have played at the festival as well as those set to play 2008.
Blissfields Festival 2008 takes place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July at its new home of Matterley Bowl, near Winchester, Hampshire, and now for 4,000 people.
