Wakestock doubles up

Wakestock, the music festival that combines with wakeboarding, has announced that it's to hold two festivals in 2008.

Along with their normal event in Cardigan Bay at Abersoch, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales which is happening from Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July 2008 (more details here), there's to be a new event a week earlier, to be held at the historic stately home of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire from Friday 27th until Sunday 29 June 2008.

Wakestock say that the new event is to be a similar format, with the wakeboarding happening on the lake in front of the Palace.

No acts are confirmed as yet for either event, but a limited number of early bird tickets will go on sale tomorrow for both Abersoch and Blenheim via the Wakestock website.
