The Acoustic Festival of Great Britain which takes place over the May Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday 24th to Monday 26th May have added more acts to its line-up. The latest additions include sixties hippie folk star Donovan whose hits include 'Sunshine Superman', 'Catch The Wind' and 'The Universal Soldier'. Joining him on the bill is British rockers Marillion.

The line-up additions in full are Donovan, Marillion, Boy on a Dolphin, TV Smith, The Acoustic 2Tone Theatre, Band From County Hell, Jan Graveson, Jim Kirkpatrick, Ade Payne Band, Karen Nash, The Pot Boilers, Acoustic Beatles, Bakers Fabulous Boys, Divided Opinions, The Toy Hearts, and Dave Sharp.

They join the acts already confirmed to play, who are Jethro Tull, Jah Wobble, The Animals, Eric Faulkner, and Gordon Giltrap. More acts will be confirmed over the coming months.

The festival plans to return after being cancelled due to bad weather last year and is at a new site, one less likely to suffer from waterlogging - Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, South Derbyshire.

A limited number of advance weekend tickets (3 days including camping) priced at £99 are now on sale here. Day tickets go on sale from Saturday 1st March.

Because of last year's cancellation, tickets from 2007 will be valid for 2008. Tickets will be replaced in line with your purchases from 2007, ie. weekend, day, weekend camping and children (all applicable regardless of ages).

As well as 3 stages of live music, the festival is expected to also include stalls, craft displays, juggling schools, a real ale tent, fair trade, children's area, camping, a tipi circle, and more.
