Super Furry Animals have been announced as headliner for the sixth Green Man Festival, and will play on the main stage on Saturday 16th August.

The festival is held from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August at Glanusk Park in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

Organised by folk duo 'It's Jo and Danny', there's live music with lots of folk and folktronica bands, plus film, literature, workshop and children's areas, and DJs. Super Furry Animals are the only band announced so far, expect more acts to be added to the line-up soon.

Tickets are priced at £105 for the weekend including on-site camping and parking, with children aged 12 and under free. Live-in vehicles are an additional £35. Click here to buy.

The site will be open from 10pm on Thursday 14th August. Please note that the entertainment starts at midday on Friday.
