Family friendly festival Blissfields has confirmed some more artists who will be performing this year at the festival's new site, Matterley Bowl, near Winchester (where Homelands used to take place) they are The Mercury nominated sonic experiment Maps will join advancing new bands Noah and the Whale, Johnny Flynn and the Sussex Wit, and the winner of this years' Red Stripe Music Award will also win a performing slot on this year's bill.

They will join the acts who have previously been announced including The Wonderstuff, The Whip, Roni Size Reprazent, Subgiant, The Pan I Am, Peggy Sue and the Pirates, Soweto Kinch, Imperial Leisure, Subsource, Six Nation State, Chris T-T, Red Eye Banquet, Lazy Habits, Jim Bob, Abdoujaparov, Nathan Flutebox Lee, The Wallbirds, Captain Phoenix, Hush the Many (Heed the Few), Monty and the Butchers, Andy Comley, Echaskech, Life at the Pines, Scarlet Soho, Blisskreig, The Jacks, Subliminal Girls, The Beat Maras, Modernaire, Pistola, Dead!Dead!Dead!, Beans on Toast, Ruth Theodore, and 30,000 Days. Blissfields is an intimate festival for all the family in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. This is a festival for people who want something as far removed from the big commercial festivals as you can get! There will be quality food and beer (including real ales) on sale at very reasonable prices, plenty of fantastic hand-picked food stalls, craft stalls, great workshops for you and the kids, relaxing areas and quirky cafes.

Blissfields is as much about the merrymaking as it is the music, expect a carnival-like atmosphere with juggling, beatbox and DJ workshops, Yallah belly dancers, performances from Panic Circus, story telling and for the first time ever at Blissfields, a mass birthday party for anybody celebrating their day while at the festival.

Day tickets for the three-day festival from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July are also now on sale priced as follows:
Friday Full Day ticket (Over 8 years) £30, Child Day ticket (Under 8) Free.
Saturday/Sunday Full Day ticket (Over 8 years) £35, Child Day ticket Free.
Arrival can be from 11am on the day purchased and is valid until end of performance on The Manor (1.00am). Please note: All under 16's must be accompanied at the festival by an adult over 18yrs who will take full responsibility for them. All concessionary tickets will only be admitted at that price with proof of age.

Full weekend pass tickets are priced at a wallet-friendly £60, and all ticket options can be bought by clicking here. That price includes camping, there is a £5 car parking fee which will be charged on the day and will be used in part to run a shuttle bus from Winchester and promote public transport.
