Download Festival held over the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2008 at Donington Park, Leicestershire has added two more acts to the third stage at this year's rock fest. Rise to Remain who are also known as Halide, and Ted Maul are the latest additions to the Gibson Guitar Stage.

This year, alongside the three music stages the festival will be offering comedic entertainment to festival goers in the campsite. The comedy starts from 10pm on Wednesday 11 June and running up to Saturday night will be the satirical Ivan Brackenbury's 'Hospital Radio' Roadshow, with Chris Lynam, Duncan Oakley, Jason John Whitehead, plus Gary Delaney, Rob And Skatz, Jason Rouse, Andrew O'Neill, Ian Cognito, Greg Cook, Sully O'Sullivan, and Lou Saffire.

Download Festival campers will be able to carry on rocking after the bands have finished with The Silent Disco which will be held in the Campsite Entertainment Tent which also houses the comedy.

The festival held over the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2008 at Donington Park, Leicestershire has a line-up which includes the headliners Kiss, The Offspring and Lostprophets, with Judas Priest, as 'very special guests', Lemmy's Mötorhead, Rise Against, Jimmy Eat World, Ash, Ace Frehley, Bullet For My Valentine, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, 36 Crazyfists, Pendulum, Job For A Cowboy, Children Of Bodom, Coheed and Cambria, Alter Bridge, Disturbed, In Flames, Incubus, and Kid Rock.
