The Levellers own festival Beautiful Days held at Escot Park, near Fairmile, Devon over the weekend of Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August have added a few more names to this year's billing.

The latest confirmed acts are Brighton-based quartet Brakes, the BBC Radio Folk Awards nominated Bella Hardy, classic 50s styled rock and rollers The Sugars, festival favourite acoustic singer/songwriter Dan Donnelly, the Irish troubadour Foy Vance, deep psychedelic trance and ambient dub DJ Liquid Ross, and Cornish comic rockers Tongue & Groove.

They join the previously announced acts who include headlining the main stage this year Squeeze, Supergrass and Levellers with other artists Alabama 3, Nouvelle Vague, Flogging Molly, Cage The Elephant, Idlewild, Pama International, Kathryn Williams & Neil Maccoll, Transglobal Underground, comedian Ross Noble, Turin Brakes, Stiff Little Fingers, Gabriella Cilmi, Oysterband, Zion Train, Seth Lakeman, Eat Static, Fishbone, Justin Sullivan, Frank Turner, Balkan Beat Box, Xavier Rudd, Salsa Celtica, Damien Dempsey, The Rhythmites, Sheelanagig, Nick Harper, Divokej Bill, Dennis Hoppers Choppers and Nuala & The Alchemy Quartet.

The family friendly festival has music across five stages, family camping, a huge open children's area, food & craft stalls, real ale bars, fancy dress and amazing site art.

The Levellers first put together their own festival in 2003 "to offer not only the best in live music today but to re-create a community spirit that many events nowadays lack or choose to ignore. This event is about people young and old coming together and taking part in something that will be remembered for a long time." It's certainly succeeded in that aim, and is fast becoming one of the most popular and talked about festivals in the UK.
