Hydro Connect adds Turin Brakes to the line-up

plus more for the Scottish festival at Inveraray Castle

Hydro Connect festival which takes place at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll, Scotland has confirmed the more acts to appear over the weekend of Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August.

Playing the Main Oyster Stage on the Sunday will be female led rock outfit The Duke Special and added to Friday's line-up at the Guitars And Other Machines Stage is Irish singer songwriter Cathy Davey, and confirmed on the same stage for Saturday are acoustic folk duo Turin Brakes.

They are the latest acts added to the line-up which consists of Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Paulo Nutini, Spiritualized, Manic Street Preachers, Bloc Party, Goldfrapp, Conor Oberst & The Magic Valley Band, The Gutter Twins, Duffy, Joan As Policewoman, Gossip, Nick Cave's Grinderman, Amy MacDonald, Elbow, The Gossip, Howling Bells, Mercury Rev, The Coral (Acoustic), Roots, The Breeders, Levellers, and Camera Obscura, Sia and more. As well as acts there will also be an enchanted forest party, a chill out tree area and 'gourmet food' on offer, including Loch Fyne Oysters, Venison Burgers, Bumble Pudding as well as Fyne Ales and 70 whiskies to sample in the Whisky bar. There are also bespoke camping options, an array of alternative entertainment, and spa facilities on offer.

For the green-friendly option you can travel by coach. Coach tickets are likely to go on sale when the event announces the first acts.

Both the car parks and coach drop-off point are a 20 minute plus walk from the campsite entrance, so make sure you don't take more than you can carry.
