Ben & Jerry's Sundae On The Common which happens on London's Clapham Common on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of July have announced the acts for the Saturday of the event.

Ben & Jerry's Sundae On The Common which is celebrating 30 years of the ice cream makers making the crazy ice cream concoctions has confirmed that The Charlatans will be headlining the Saturday. Also playing that day will be a supporting cast of Guillemots, Delays, Charlotte Hatherley, Florence and the Machine, Brightlights, and The Troubadours.

Tim Burgess of the Charlatans commented on playing at Ben & Jerry's Sundae On The Common, "I am really excited at the prospect at playing at this years Ben & Jerry’s festival, it has it all....the weather, the line up and the atmosphere. The band have wanted to play there for a while now but due to other commitments we were unable to so we are glad to finally be getting the opportunity this summer!"

Tickets for the Saturday part of Sundae are priced at £8.75 and have now go on sale, to buy them click here. The Sunday tickets have all sold out. Tickets are available up to a maximum of four per person.

Ash will headline on the Sunday, with support from The Lemonheads, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, The Vivians, Slow Club, Cage the Elephant, Parka and The New York Fund. For the line-up details as available please click here.


Festival goers can enjoy a mix of free Ben & Jerry's ice cream, fairground attractions and live music. The line up for Saturday 26th July has yet to be announced.
