BBC Introducing line-up announced for Creamfields

The line-up has been announced for the BBC Introducing Bus at Creamfields, the two day dance event, held over the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August (the August Bank Holiday weekend).

Radio 1 will also be returning to Creamfields in 2008 after a three year gap, to broadcast over 10 hours of live coverage. Also, for the first time the BBC Introducing Bus rolls into town with some of Radio 1's big names appearing and showcasing some of the UK's freshest emerging talent. Some of Radio 1's and 1Xtra DJ's who will be getting on board include Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Annie Mac, and Kissy Sell Out, plus 1Xtra's Mistajam, Crissy Criss and Footloose who will all be popping on the bus throughout the weekend.

The DJs confirmed to appear at the event which is celebrating its 10th anniversary are Doorly, Andy George & Jaymo from Moda, Tom Maddicott, Dolby Anol, Anton Powers, Matrix & Futurebound, Lee Mortimer, James Rand, Lewis Boardman, Rachel Barton, LMP DJs, and DJ Mog.

BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac said, "I'm as excited as ever for Creamfields this year. As always I've worked alongside Chibuku to put together the Chibuku and Annie Mac Presents Arena where I'm playing alongside Ian Brown, Erol Alkan and 2ManyDJs. This year sees the launch of the all new Annie Mac Presents tent, it's a smaller tent and gives me an opportunity to showcase lots of new and exciting acts like Little Boots and Frankmusic, Plastic Little and Clik Clik. I'll be doing my weekend radio shows from there too.. so that along with the fact that it's Creamfields 10th Birthday makes for a mammoth weekend."

As this year Creamfields celebrates ten years the event has been spread over two days for the first time and will host speciality camping where party goers can take a break from the party in tipis, beach huts and even solar powered pod pads in the stunning surroundings of Daresbury Estate, Halton, Cheshire.
