Despite a month's worth of rain falling on site at this year's Bestival, spirits were high, and eFestivals will have photos and reviews of this year's deeply aquatic flavoured weekend online over the next few days - don't forget to check back and check them out!

Rob da Bank @ Camp Bestival 2008
Festival organiser Rob da Bank said of this year's event, "Wow what a weekend - in more ways than one! The mud of the Somme with the spirit of Dunkirk as one Isle of Wight wag told me over the weekend. The crazy thing is that me and Josie and John and Ziggy actually feel more positive about this show than any of the others we've done - in large part because of the incredible effort all the festi goers made in the face of adversity and a huge amount of mud! I take my hat off to you one and all. And we've already had literally hundreds of requests for tickets for next year and so are delighted to be going on sale again this Friday! Come rain or shine, but preferably shine, see you next year!"

As well as the music, Bestival has the world's biggest fancy dress party plus cocktail bars, laughter clubs, a farmers market, kids area, morris dancing, magical moments and more, as one of the most colourful events on the festival calendar. Hopefully it will have lovely weather in 2009 too.
