Classical superstar Katherine Jenkins, and violin virtuoso Vanessa-Mae are both playing shows as part of The Forestry Commission's 2009 Forest Tours next Summer.

Following two sell-out forest concerts this year, Katherine Jenkins has announced she will be performing two further woodland dates next Summer with the National Symphony Orchestra.

Katherine Jenkins with the National Symphony Orchestra will be performing at Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Near Goudhurst, Kent on Sunday 7th June, and Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire on Sunday 14th June.

Violin virtuoso Vanessa-Mae will also be appearing as part of The Forestry Commission's 2009 Forest Tours next Summer.

Vanessa-Mae, with her band, and a symphony orchestra, will be performing at Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury, Gloucestershire on Saturday 18th July 2009.

Vanessa-Mae has collaborated with such pop legends as Janet Jackson and Prince; performed on the soundtrack of the Disney animated feature Mulan; played Bach for the British Royal Family on the 250th anniversary of the composer's death; fiddled as she modelled a wedding dress at a Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show in Paris; and reached out to the children of the South African township of Soweto, the first international artist to be invited to its music school.
