Festival Internacional de Benicassim, FIB Heineken, which is held near Valencia, Spain from Thursday 16th until Sunday 19th July, has announced the first acts for 2009.
Franz Ferdinand, and Kings of Leon are the first two headlining acts to be announced, and they'll play on days yet to be determined. Also on the bill is Paul Weller. Many more acts will be announced over the coming months.
Benicassim has something to offer across the whole musical spectrum, as indie and rock bands rub shoulders with DJs and more experimental music projects. As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival boasts a quality bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.
Tickets are on sale on now. A four-day pass cost £140 until January 15th, and can be bought here.
