The Christians, Imelda May, The Animals, and Dodgy are amongst the first acts confirmed to play The Acoustic Festival of Britain.

The festival returns in 2009 over the May Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 22nd to Monday 25th May at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, South Derbyshire.

The list of acts confirmed today includes The Christians, Imelda May, The Animals, Dodgy, Baka Beyond, Chris Difford, The Blow Monkeys, Miles Hunt, Albert Lee, Martyn Joseph, Aziz Ibrahim, Mungo Jerry, Colvin Quarmby, The Acoustic Beatles, Henry Priestland, The Destroyers, Rodney Brannigan, Michael Weston King, Jackie Leven, Trailer Trash Orchestra, Sean Taylor, The Acoustic 2 Tone Theatre, Whateverland, Laienda, The Carrivick Sisters, Emma Black, The Beetroot Kings, Rob Halligan, Florence Rowland, The Re-entrants, The Toy Hearts, Big Fibbers, and Matt Tyler. More acts will be confirmed over the coming months including one of the headline acts, and acts for the Comedy Club Stage.

Tickets for the Acoustic Festival of Britain are not yet on sale.

As well as 3 stages of live music, the festival is expected to also include stalls, craft displays, juggling schools, a real ale tent, fair trade, children's area, camping, a tipi circle, and more.
