4-days £160 - SOLD OUT, day tickets Thursday or Friday £67.50

Brit nominees Oasis have been announced as one of the headliners at Festival Internacional de Benicassim, in Spain.

Oasis
The Gallagher brothers who have just been announced as having been nominated seven times at this year's NME awards, including best and worst band, are set to release their third single 'Falling Down', in early March and will be playing in Spain next month and will return there to headline the spanish festival in July.

Festival backer Vince Power said: "I'm really pleased to have Oasis play this year, especially as it's the 15th Anniversary. This year looks to be one of the best years to date."

Festival Internacional de Benicassim, FIB Heineken, which is held near Valencia, Spain from Thursday 16th until Sunday 19th July, has already announced Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon, and Paul Weller for this year's bill.

Jose Morán, co-founder of FIB Heineken, added "After fifteen years of history, the Benicàssim Festival has become a key summer date for the thousands of people from around the world who come every year. And what a better way to celebrate our fifteenth anniversary than with the confirmation that such a significant band as Oasis will be performing. This will be their third time in Benicàssim, after their concerts in 2000 and 2005."

Benicassim has something to offer across the whole musical spectrum, as indie and rock bands rub shoulders with DJs and more experimental music projects. As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival boasts a quality bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

Tickets are on sale on now. A four-day pass cost £140 until January 15th, and can be bought here.
