Super Furry Animals have been confirmed as the Friday night headliner for this year's Wychwood Music Festival.

The Travelling Band
Welsh rock band, Super Furry Animals will entertain the crowds with their psychedelic pop on the first night of the festival held at Cheltenham Racecourse, backed by the Prestbury Hills.

Wychwood Music Festival also today reveals exclusively on eFestivals that the second, Big Top Stage, will see performances from the daughter of Ade Edmondson Ella Edmondson, Alex Cornish, and Orchid Star.

There are also new additions to the Doghouse Stage line-up with The Amber Sleep, The Nouvelles, Becca Williams & The Broken Biscuits, and the playing again this year will be The Travelling Band.

The Tom Robinson curated evening stage, which showcases his 'Fresh on the Net Sessions' bands, also sees Stornoway make their return, plus MonMon, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Miners Club, and The October Game, added to the bill.

Proudly sponsored by eFestivals the Comedy Stage at Wychwood curated by Mundo Jazz has confirmed the appearances of Gareth Jones, and comedian Stuart Goldsmith.

Tickets for Wychwood are on sale, priced at £110 for the weekend, with concessions costing £85, and up-to two under-12s FREE (extra under-12s £10 each). A campervan/caravan pass is £30. To buy tickets, click here.
